Each school year, all members, including teachers on leave, are required to complete a form which provides the Association the information that it needs to offer its services.
The NBTA has several types of membership classes, but most members are either teachers under contract in a New Brunswick school district (Statutory Members) or supply teachers who have taught at least one day in the current school year (Casual Members). All others have an Associate or Honorary status.
